Calling all Cricket Club Committees: Help Us Make Cricket More Accessible!

Updated: Mar 12, 2023

Hello there, esteemed members of cricket club committees!

We hope you're doing well and keeping your wickets clean. We have a request that we think you'll be interested in: we want you to fill out a survey!

Now, before you roll your eyes and mutter something about "another survey," hear us out. This survey is specifically designed to help us understand how cricket clubs operate throughout the UK. We want to know what works well, what could use some improvement, and how we can make cricket more accessible to everyone.

We understand that being on a committee is no easy feat. There are meetings to attend, decisions to make, and probably a few disagreements along the way. But we promise that this survey won't take up too much of your time. It'll only take a few minutes, and it's completely anonymous if you would like it to be.

Plus, think about it this way: filling out this survey could help make cricket even better than it already is. We're talking about a sport that's been around for centuries, played by millions of people around the world. Cricket has brought communities together, sparked friendly rivalries, and given us some truly unforgettable moments. Better yet, it was a sport that was invented in England - isn’t that something to be proud of !?

But we also know that there are barriers to playing cricket. Maybe it's the cost of equipment or the lack of facilities in certain areas. Maybe it's the perception that cricket is a "posh" sport, or that it's too complicated to understand. Whatever the case may be, we want to identify those barriers and work towards overcoming them.

That's where you come in! You're the ones who know your clubs best. You know what's worked in the past and what hasn't. You know what your members want and need. And by filling out this survey, you'll be helping us make cricket more accessible to everyone.

So please, take a few minutes to fill out the survey by clicking here. It's quick, it's easy, and it'll make a big difference. And who knows, maybe we'll even throw in a free cricket bat or two (just kidding, but we can dream).

Thanks for your time, and keep on swinging those bats!
