We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Rickmansworth Cricket Club to provide: coaches for their weekly sessions, private coaching services when required and of course holiday camps. We would like to welcome Rickmansworth CC and we very much look forward to working with you and your colts section going forward.
Rickmansworth Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in England, with a proud history going back hundreds of years. In the late Victorian era, Rickmansworth would often entertain teams of the All-England XI, winning a famous match just days before the first Ashes Test in 1881. Fielding up to 5 Saturday teams and 2 Sunday teams, the club has regularly supplied young players to the Herts County and Area squads (8 last year) and are now looking to move onto the next phase with a comprehensive coaching regime provided by Cricket Vision.
Paul from Rickmansworth CC said to their members this week: “I have to admit to being really excited about this as they [Cricket Vision] will make a huge difference, bringing new ideas to our youngsters. They also offer one-to-one sessions, private group sessions and we will see if maybe a short cricket camp is possible this season. What a thrilling opportunity for us all.”
Our CEO, Tim, commented “I am really excited to be working with Rickmansworth CC and I look forward to supporting the club starting their colts sessions this Friday. It has been a long time since children could play cricket at the club with friends so I am glad we are able to be a part of this restart.”
